Thanks Mike, sorry for late reply as I was away for a week. I have noticed one more thing that, when I try to spin, the drain pump doesn't stop even though tub is empty..

Thanks Mike, but I've got smartdrive in washer and I refer the parts manual, it shows that, rotor would be stationary and stator will move, I've cleaned Pressure sensor and tube as well. still symptoms are same.

Motor brushes worn or loose. Replace them

More often than not the drain pump runs on for a few minutes after the spin das ended. It may be your pressure switch is a bit blocked, but that usually stops the water filling, or conversely, allows it to overfill. Try the brushes first. I'm 90% it's them

Does that mean it's an induction motor fed by a pcb? Check there isn't an "out of balance" switch fault

  • mike cooper May 24, 2012

Only thing I can come up with is no power from relay on pcb. Is there anything at the motor?

SOURCE: washing machine wont fill with hot water

if you pull the filter out of you (hot water) valve with a pair of long nose pliers you will see a black rubber seal. pull this rubber ring put as it acts like a restrictor.

SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel GW611 Not filling with water

Hi just read your posting.Did you remove any wires to the control module which is located under the top panel when you replaced the bearings. Now did you put the cold inlet hose to the water valve marked with the letter C and the hot to H ?These letters are next to the valves.Have you got the Efficiency option button? Can you select a manual water level instead of just an auto fill?Have you tried to put the machine throe a spin cycle?Do you hear any water coming into the machine at all? Please with additional information to these questions and I am sure we can rectify this problem for you.

SOURCE: I have a GWL11 Fisher&Paykel top loader

The fault code 130 is for Rotary Position Sensor fault. RPS is an electronic component which is neccessary for the motor to turn. It may have failed because of water leaking through the shaft seal. In this case water will have spun out onto the insides of the cabinet. This situation is probably a message to replace the machine.
If the inside of the cabinet is clean and the RPS is the only problem you would be well advised to call a serviceman. The RPS is a little tricky to get in properly and a serviceman will warranty his work.
It is not a big job for an experience tech. Get quotes.
Good luck.....Nomess

Most possibly be Error code 56,
Is common in 11 series machines & early series 12.
Is your machine beeping & showing a weird pattern of lights on the wash cycle, It is displaying an error code,
To read this error code you start at the red spin light & work to the left only add up the lights that are on. Red spin light = 1 2nd rinse light =2 1st rinse light =4 last wash light=8 4th wash light=16 3rd wash light=32 2nd wash light=64 1st wash light=128

How to move around brandt wm 550

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem: It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

My washing machine would stop and beep and not advance to the next wash cycle and it was taking forever to fill up. I did the diagnostics and found it to be #49 which is a faulty hot or cold water valve. ...

Sorry for the very much delayed response due to site changes which modified the notification system.

Anyway, you should try holding first the WASH TEMP DOWN button then the POWER button until there's a beep. If it doesn't work, use WASH TEMP UP instead.

Make sure the Restart feature is turned on and the Recycle feature is turned off if all else fails. During the diagnostic mode use the WATER LEVEL DOWN button to turn RESTART on by pressing the said button until the LOW WATER LEVEL LED turns on. Use the WATER LEVEL UP button to turn RECYCLE off. The MEDIUM WATER LEVEL LED off indicates RECYCLE OFF. To set these modes in EEPROM the Advance button must be held while selecting Restart or Recycle. Power off the machine thereafter to complete the reset.

Our FnP GW611 while filling the water stops and starts and after a short time it stops and beeps and the long wash and spin lights come on orange. Any ideas? Thanks

The problem can be determined through the Wash Progress LEDs. The specific lit LEDs combination indicates an specific error code that tells what generally the problem is. But the exact positions of the lit LEDs are necessary in determining the exact code. Refer to the illustration below and post back the code or the exact positions of the lit LEDs. You may Google for the error code once you determine it, like "Fisher and Paykel Fault Code 37".
