Have windows xp says it should work...plug in to usb get your new hardware is ready, go to yahoo and get nothing but a black screen.

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Philips webcam spc110nc
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.
I had same problem...called Philips and they told me to make sure V Lounge was OFF before using Skype or Yahoo Messenger....what a simple but counterintuitive fix...Vlounge turns the the camera on !!
You need to use this driver.

In order to get the SPC110NC working with AIM / Yahoo / Windows Live Messenger / Skype you need to download a driver.
Please download the driver for your operating system and follow the instructions supplied:

install the driver after you download it.
Then go to the device manager
(right-click "Computer", then click "Manage", select "Device Manager")
Then browse for the webcam in the tree menu to the right of the window.
Right click the webcam entry and click "Update Driver".
After that you should be good to go!
