All you have to do is go to www.google.com and in the search box type the question and find the answer.

For example if your email client is Yahoo (meaning you use yahoo for your email account) then in the google search type: Outlook 2007 and yahoo mail.

You will see many results returned on how to set it up.

SOURCE: I have just set up

Go to Tools->account settings and check they are all correct. Double click on your account (in account settings), then click on 'more Settings', On the outgoing server tab it check whether 'My outgoing server requires authentication' is ticked (some servers need this ticked others don't so try changing it. Also on the Advanced Tab, check the SMTP port, it's usually 25 but depending on your mail server may be something else.

Not able to sent email from outlook 2007

Do you have Outlook set up to work with a specific email account? The details of how to make Outlook send mail vary depending on which kind of email you are using (Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, etc.). You can find instructions for making Outlook 2007 work with many of the common types of email at:

http://www.living-with-outlook.com/outlook-web-mail.html

If this doesn't help, you should post information on the kind of email service you are using. Specifically, who is the email provider (Comcast, Verizon, etc.)

Outlook 2007 will not send and recieve email from a pop3 on windows 7. installed and set up email as i have been doing for the past years. the error code 0x8004210A pops up

if you are trying to connect to MSN, Hotmail, or Office Live Small Business accounts using Outlook 2007, you will have to select HTML instead of the SMTP or POP settings

Default Mail Client

Have you ever had Outlook configured correctly to access your email server and download messages?
It sounds like you have set outlook as the default email client but you have not yet configured the email account settings within outlook so that outlook knows how to connect to your mail server online.
Please refer to this link or this link for instructions on how to do this.
Check the programs tab of Internet Options in control panel and make sure Outlook appears as the default email client.

If you follow the instructions in this tutorial you should be able to enter your administrative account and ensure that the Office Diagnostics program runs with sufficient privileges...I believe that will correct this error message...
If not, If you have correctly configured your email accounts within outlook and outlook is set as the default, please see this posting and the recommended change to correct the situation.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Microsoft outlook on my verizon HTC SMT5800

Unless you are trying to sync with another Microsoft Exchange Server (say at your new Job) or you are running an Exchnage server at home on a dedicated server.. you will not be able to set your phone up with exchange.

One Suggestion I may have would be to setup outlook on your phone to connect to your email via Imap4 or POP3.

You might want to remove the activesync partnership to your old company if you havent done so allready to help get rid of the exchnage sync error's.

Hope this helps.

XP Has been uninstalled

Microsoft Outlook Express, Outlook and Outlook Web Access come integrated with Windows XP. You could use any of those email programs instead of Office 2007, or you could purchase Office 2007, the choice is yours.
