Model # 28072 replacement glass shade
Here's the best solution for the light fixture replacement shade on the Hunter Model No. 28072 ...I just called the manufacturer 888-830-1326. The part number is 77770100000. They had 252 left in stock and after my purchase, they now have 251. They charged me $10.00 (regardless of how many I purchased) for the shade and $10.00 for the shipping. I am praying that it's the correct triangular shaped shade! Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!! I wish you all the best.

You may want to check a local lighting store. They specialize in light fixtures and have numerous books to order from and a lot of expertise (usually, at least more than the high school kid at home depot). Hampton Bay is popular fan brand so I don't think they'll have much trouble.

The same thing happened to me, you put them on two tight. just right now i was going to take mine off so i could let u know which way to turn it. but can't take it off and i just put it on last night, & not too tight. i just remember that i have an xtra one, okay i got it it's counter clock wise. you're going to need someone to help you hold the light kit fitter assembly while you turn it. careful not to strip the light kit fitter assembly. mine rotates both ways now because when i tried to take it off it would turn so mabybe it's the other way, and nothing. then i got **** & started to used more force, back and fort, by myself even with the help of my friend it was a ***** to get it off. good luck. good luck cutrite , Hampton Bays importer King of Fans in Fl prob wont even know what your talking about they don't speak English very good. If you speak Chinese you might have a chance but if the part is over a year old..'forget about it' as we would say... they don't stock old parts (over a year) and everything is manufactured in China. Try a local lighting store you'll save yourself a lot of aggravation. And don't patronize Hampton Bay it only encourages them to push garbage on us all.

Hampton Bay is an exclusive brand to Home Depot. They have replacement globes in their fan section. or you could try a lighting store or Lowes.
