I currently have a panasonic lumix DMC-FZ35 I recently dropped it on the floor causing the lense to fall out of place and it moves back in forth within' it's frame. I was wondering what are the ranges in which this would cost for a repair? and could I do this repair by myself?

SOURCE: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX12 upsidedown screen

The issue is due to the data cable getting damaged due to the way of packing it inside the camera casing. The signal carrying traces on the edge of the felxible cable is getting damaged. Once the camera is opened and the cable is repositioned properly/replaced will solve this issue.

No. The FZ35 does not have a removeable lens.

Lumix DMC FZ35 Lens Opens and Retracts Continually When Turning the Camera on.

it sounds like it has slipped a gear in the lens.. you could try to manually push the lens in when it comes out and that might reset it but it also might break it.. best is to send it back to panasonic.. is a easy fix

Describe your Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 Digital

Hi,
the zoom in the camera is manual, are the lenses moving inside, when you go from 35 to 420 mm?
Have you dropped your camera or has is experienced a shock of some kind? In that case you would need to send it for repairing the lenses, do not attempt to do that on your own.
