Hello,

I have a friend with a systemax, same thing happened to him.

Go into the control panel, select sounds and audio devices, go over three tabs to the audio tab, make sure the sound default device is the onboard audio card. Should be all set.

Let me know how it works out.

What keys access the bios on systemax venture vx2

Usually, when you boot a machine, the bottom of the screen briefly displays what function key you need to press to access "setup" (or BIOS). See if this info helps...

My system asking a new PRODUCT KEY for activation. i dont have the KEY. now what can i do????????????

you would have to call Microsoft or contact there support team if you have proof of purchase they can give u product key. i would also think about contacting the original manufacturer of the computer as they could provide u if you have proof of purchase. if not you could always purchase a windows vista or windows 7 operating system. microsofts number is 800-642-7676 and there Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri: 5am-9pm PT

Need to turn on front headphone jack to a systemax vx2 computer

There are some connections inside your PC, but the people that sold you your PC probably haven't connected them. I suggest you go to a PC expert and ask him to do it... It won't really cost much...

I am trying to find out what year was the model made in.

Find the serial-number of the model.
Access the manufacturer's web-site.
Enter the serial-number, and do a "warranty" search.
It probably will show "warranty has expired",
but it should show the ship-date, and the warranty-end date.

CAN'T FIND ETHERNET CONTROLLER DRIVER FOR MY SYSTEMAX VENTURE SERIAL #106722446. DOWNLOADS FROM SUPPORTFORYOURPC.COM DIDN'T HAVE THE DRIVER.

You can always use a program like driver genius or Boot from a Knoppix cd and run ls pci from the command window. If the card is not integrated in the motherboard pop it out and get the numbers off the card itself.
Worst case scenario is put a 10 dollar pci ethernet card in it :)

I am trying to find a disc for gateway computer serial # 0017892149 to make it run

Hi, I think this will help you. Go to www.gateway.com, and click on Support. On the next screen, type in your serial number and click on Submit. That will take you to a page where you can download what you need or get other stuff, like manuals. Example, click on My Downloads and then tell them which operating system. You may spend a little time but you'll get what you're searching for. Best wishes.
