Re: cant find the number lock key on my acer 6920 laptop
I think for your laptop the number lock key is a second function... Try holding down the function (Fn) key and pressing the F11 key, hopefully that will turn your number lock on/off.

Hi Tiffany,
The Numlock on your laptop is on that is why instead of letters you are getting numbers. In order to get it back to letters please check the key that says Num Lock where the green light is lit up all you have to do is to press it again to disable Num Lock. If in case you can't see it you may want to try pressing Fn + F11 once and check if you are still getting numbers, press Fn + F11 to disable it. Hope it helps.
The NumLk key has been pressed and locks these keys to type numbers instead of letters. The NumLk key is usually located above the F10, F11 function keys and there is a LED that lights up when the NumLk is selected and a LED light also lights up when the Caps lock key is pressed.
When the RH side of the keboard types numbers instead of letters then the Num Lock (number lock) key has been pressed. Press the Num Lock Key again to return to letters again, usually this is usually done by pressing the Fn key plus and probably the Scroll keys, this key will be also marked NumLk, and there will be a LED light that will indicate when the number lock is on.

You need to press the NUM Lock key.
The NUM lock key is usually the same key as the ScrLk key but to select the NUM lock you need to press and hold down the Shift key and then press the NumLk/ScrLk key. A LED light will light up to indicate the number keypad is on.
