How to delete multiple photos?

My screen is broken but otherwise the camera is working properly. I've lost my usb cable long ago, so I just put my memory card in computer when I want to see my photos. So my memory card is full, photos are protected and I tried the little switch on the card but it didn't help. If anyone has this camera, it would be of great help if you could tell me exactly what to do when deleting all photos. I know you press Review button, and then Delete, but what next? Do I go down, up? Please help.

SOURCE: Kodak M853 error message

My first inclination was that maybe the lock on the side of the SD card was on but after you mentioned that it worked in your mom's camera, I don't think that's the case. You may want to check that though. There's a little switch on the side and just make sure that it's switched to the "unlock" side.

The only other thing would be to format the memory card. When you do that, you will lose all the pictures on it. So, if it happens to work in ***********'s camera, I would transfer the pictures you already have saved on there and copy them to a cd before formatting the memory card.

In order to format your memory card, press the menu button, then go into the setup menu. There should be a list of settings. Scroll down to the format option and choose to format the memory card.

I hope this helps :)

SOURCE: How do I recover a protected album from my camera?

Hello

My apologies if this message finds you long after posting this problem , but I am currently working through a backlog of problems that never got answered and hopefully this info can still be of use if not now possibly in future.

Please download Disc Digger HERE. This is a free tool you can use that works very well and there is no installation required, just run the program once you downloaded it.

Once you have connected the memory card to the computer via either the camera or preferably with a usb card reader , run the program.

On the program , select the dig deep option for accidentaly deleted files or dig deeper for a formatted card. Then select the card you want to do the recovery on and run the program.

The data will be displayed and you can recover it from there. This will only work if the card has not been used since the pictures were lost. Save the files to a location on the computer hard drive and not back to the memory card as this will overwrite the other pictures that still needs to be recovered.

Some of the properties of the files may become lost in the recovery but the pictures should be fine.

Feel free to ask if you need more assistance.

Kind Regards
Andrea

SOURCE: Its telling me memory card

Look at the memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

If that doesn't work, try another card.

Wher can I buy a usb cable for my Polaroid m737t?

Consider NOT using the USB connection.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Even if you have to buy a card reader, it won't cost much more than a USB cable.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

My samsung sh100 would not turn off properly and i had to remove the battery. It now has erased all my pictures from my Europe trip .

Take no more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. It's very easy, but you'll need to purchase an inexpensive USB memory stick card reader, if you don't own one already. Have you tried to take photos & then use the USB cable to download those trial photos? or take test photos and then swap your SD card into another SD card camera?
The rear screen has all its electrics passing through a flat ribbon connector, as this is the only link to the main body of the camera. This ribbon folds over itself at 45 degrees within the case when the camera is assembled.
This fold is OK until the camera is compressed accidently, when that fold in the ribbon may become a crease, and then one or more of the connections within the ribbon may fail at the crease, and while camera works otherwise, you have then lost function of the rear screen.
Take some test photos & if they download OK, I'd suspect this ribbon connector is the problem. Camera Good, Screen not working.
I currently have this problem with my R1v & have yet to see if a replacement ribbon connector is available from a Repair facility, so my help may only give you insight, without end-solution.
