Hi,

Check the following link

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bpu00657&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=91466

However, perform the following steps:

1. Verify that the unit is switched on. Unplug the all-in-one from power and disconnect the connection port.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Plug in the power only.
4. Repeat steps 2-4 two more times.
5. On the third time after plugging the unit into power, reconnect the connection port from the all-in-one to your computer.

1. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on and wait for 20 seconds.

2. Then, press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.

Continue holding until it displays Semi Full Reset message in the front panel of the All-in-One.

Regards,

Sagarjd

Installed new HP 74 and 75 cartridges.

First, try to clean the print head by following the steps below:
1. Remove the old ink cartridges and clean the print head nozzle with a damp cotton swab to remove any dried ink.
2. Reinstall the new ink cartridges and print a test page.
3. If the test page is still blurry, try running the printer's alignment utility. This is typically accessed through the printer's settings or system preferences.
4. If the alignment utility doesn't help, try manually doing an alignment page directly from your computer. Be sure to follow the instructions from the printer manual or from the printer manufacturer's website.
5. If the alignment page is still blurry, try reinstalling the cartridges to ensure the cartridges are securely in place.
6. If all else fails, you may need to replace the ink cartridges

Installed new cartridges - prints color not black

Hi Colleen,

Try this > open a document (from the computer) and select print from the menu,
- In the print screen window select 'properties' Or 'Preferences' or 'Properties'

- In the next window click 'maintenance'

- In the next window there will be many options to clean, align, nozzle check etc etc... , there click 'Ink cartridge settings'.

- A small windows opens, there select black only. See the image

- try printing, if it fails to print, just return the crtridge to the shop and get a geniune branded one. (dont forget to change the 'inak cratridge settings to normal to 'both black and color')

Hope this help, if you are not able to fix it still, then better come to chat http://www.fixya.com/marketplace/servicepage.aspx?srvid=17981 , thanks!

C6180 failed alignment test, will not print color properly

All colors need to be present to pass alignment. Usually what I see is the yellow is empty. You can blot the print cartridge on a damp paper towel to verify the inks are working and this also cleans the head.

Printer keeps showing : Press enter to align cartridges. After doing this it then prints out an alignment page and shows: Alignment failed please: Press enter Alignment failed. This goes on and on. I have...

I have found that if I put in an old aligned page the printer reads it as and the alignment is accepted. As for the cancelled message being in the window, I have had this problem too. I've ignored it and selected the copy button and it took the command. The only problem with hitting cancel is that you cannot turn off your printer. Every time you do you have to repeat the aligning and cancellation process.
