the ribbon cable behind the screen itseft is different depending on laptop model and screen size, what you could do is compare them both to see if they are compatable, for example the ribbon conector pins that connect on the back of the screen maybe bay be different size or possibly even the same, this is trial and error but it wouldn't hurt to check.

No it will not, the screens are oriented very differently from one another. the pins and the wire tapes are placed on different parts. but if you will be modifying the actual case of the laptop screen, then it may fit. but as it is, it will not fit.

thanks for that the reason for the question is' the toshiba screen is made by LG and PHILIPS so it might be compatible with a samsung.
