Does anyone have the correct screw size for a LCD Sony Bravia stand attachment (KDL-46W4500/40W4500/40E4500)...we seem to have misplaced them in the move...
While the owner manual does not specify the length etc of bolts it does show there are 4 of them---look like find thread machine bolt---may be able to buy a few at the hardware sore or Home Depot---if the threads are inside the base take it with you as a guide.

pretty stupid as owner manual has everything including dimensions and weight etc but no list of bolts size.

and it is available in Part Store, click the link and I think TV needs 4 screws or so.

Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

i have the same problem, apparently the LCD panel needs to be replaced and this will cost more than the tv is worth... Advice is to not buy a sony again, because this is a common problem and they wont extend the warranty, even if its 2 weeks after it runs out...

you have to lay the tv on it's front on something to protect it from being damaged.on the back you'll see where the base joins the bottom of the display, this needs to be unscrewed and a wall bracket screwed in instead.
