Samsung 42'' lcd keeps switching off and on

I have a 42" Samsung LCD with i got over a year ago. It has round button at the front for switching on and off. Lately when i switch it on, it stays for about 20 seconds or more then turns off. I then keep hearing a clicking sound at the back off the panel. after some 2 to 3 mins it will switch itself back on and then goes off again. it keeps doing this repeatedly.

Samsung 40" lcd tv with power supply fault?

you need to replace the 10v blown capacitors with 16 volt or higher go to utube and type in samsung power supply fix and you can do this yourself for about 30 bucks

This is not a fault of the remote but of the TV - the capacitors (3or4) of them in the power supply need to be replaced.

Source in samsung 42 lcd keeps changing

it has something to do with the key pad assembly, i guess the source button may be sticking in. Has the key pad board been disconnected?

No Display on my Samsung 204B monitor

If you know how to open it up and get to the power supply you will find three capacitors 2-820uf and 1-330 @ 25vdc 105o.they will have puffed up tops replace them. FYI the monitor has a 3 year warranty.
