What water connections does a samsung fridge freezer need?

I need to plumb in my fridge freezer. I wanted to run the copper pipe fairly close before it is delivered. I noticed in the store the pipe is a micro pipe with a screw on fitting on each end. One end will obviously go onto the Fridge Freezer and the other to a feed. What fitting do i need to put on the end of the copper pipe to screw the feed to. Is it like a washing machine fitting? Thanks!

They generally use 1/4" tubing.

SOURCE: hello!ad my black glass fridge freezer delivered

Post your model number for filter help. The water supply hook to the water inlet valve on the back, Usually near the bottom. It has a fitting where the incoming water will fit. You may have to remove part of the cardboard on the back to get to it.

Need to disconnect water line at back of frig to move it temporarily while floor is replaced. Connected with compression fitting and ferrule.

You may be forced to cut the copper pipe and buy a new compression fitting and ferrule and add it to the cut off end of the copper tubing when you decide to re-hookup the refrigerator.
Remember to cut the pipe , if you choose to do so, with a tubing cutter so as not to "smash" the cut end.
This problem can happen any time dissimilar metals are joined, they can "freeze" together.
God bless your efforts.

Converting 220v to 110v

No, I'm sorry, but this is not possible. But remember that 220 vac is just two legs of 120vac cycled 60 degrees apart. So 220 may be available there. Talk to the local electricians--you may only need a new plug and recepticle installed, or it may take extra wiring, depending on the buildings wiring and local codes.

Water leaking from underneath. Not currently

This could be a blocked drain.Behind the fridge is a hose/pipe running from the inside of the fridge down to the compressor where the water will then evaporate. If this pipe is blocked, the water will push up back into the fridge.Try to blow the hose clean from inside the fridge. This should solve your problem.

My Maytag side by side with water dispenser and ice maker doesn't work. We bought a house - never lived in - and the fridge and freezer work fine. We replaced the water filter and find that no water comes...

The sadle valve is located on the copper pipe where the tube attaches to your water pipe in the house. Shut the water off at the saddle valve. Remove the hose from the rear of the frig on the water inlet valve and put it into a pail. Tunr the water on at the saddle valve and see how fast the water comes out. Some times if the saddle valve is installed on the bottom of the copper pipe they will get corrosive and restrict water flow. Open and close the valve several times to make sure it is clear and reinstall the hose to the rear of the frig. Turn the water back on to see if it works.

My 40 l does not wan to keep stuff cold teh motor kicks in only mometarily, can it be in need of a gas refill and does it ide normal aircon gas? It can get cold by itself but if you stick it with drinks...

If The motor is switching on for short periods, you either have a faulty compressor or a blockage. My money is on a blockage. Once cover is removed to allow you to see the compressor, look for a small fat copper tube that has a small 1/4 inch copper pipe on one side and a thin capillary tube connected on the other side DRIER). Flex this very thin pipe connected to the small fat tube(DRIER) untill it breaks.Gas will come out. Wait untill all gas is out then reswitch on and see if compressor still continues to switch off on short intervals. If it can run for at least 1 min without switching off, then get a Refr.Tech to come and replace drier and regas unit.

Too much water coming out of the pan (in the front of the ice maker) and copper pipes on top left side are covered with ice.

Not real sure just what you are saying as to what pan? The copper pipes that go to the evap plates where the ice is made are supposed to frost over. They get colder than dew point of the air so this is normal. But all the pipes should frost. Does the unit shut down and give any type of beeping noises? This would be the control giving you a trouble code. You may have a water valve leaking. Turn unit off and see if water continues to run. All water should stop within a few seconds. Let me know what you find. Please verify model and serial numbers.

My Bosch frostfree fridge freezer keeps icing up!

My Bosch Frost Free Fridge Freezer did the same thing - Ice forming in the bottom of the freezer area after a few days.

It was caused by a blocked drain pipe - When the freezer does the de-frosting cycle, the melted ice drips into a tray and tehn runs into a dish on top of teh compressor, through a pipe.

If this pipe gets blocked, the de frosted ice overflows from the tray and overflows into the bottom of the freezer and then re-freezes !

To fix, pull the freezer away form the wall, locate the pipe that runs to the dish on top of the compressor and blow through it - This should clear it. Alternatively, from inside the freezer compartment, pull off the cover at the back, but the clips holding it on will probably break off, as mine did ! You can sort of push the cover back on and re-fit the food draws.

Connecting to water supply

If you mean icemaker or water supply it's easy you just have to connect a water pipe 1/4 to your main water supply of your sink 1/2 inch. Just putting a valve first on the 1/2 pipe reducing to 1/4 & you bring it to your water valve solenoid of the fridge. That's it!
