Hi I have a G4 Dual 500 mhz with Gigabit Ethernet, 896 MB RAM and a Rage 128 Pro graphics card with ADC/VGA. The OS is 9.2.2. I want to install OS X Tiger. I'd like to know if there are any compatibility issues in running Classic under Tiger with this card and/or Tiger itself. I plan on upgrading to a faster card in the near future. My monitor by the way is a Apple CRT Studio Displa with ADC/VGA. Any advice or suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks. Ravi

SOURCE: compatible Cards

Mac G4 supports only AGP cards today almost all the cards come in PCiE format. Your best bet is a 4x AGP card any brand will do as long as it is AGP 4x.

Hi, I need standard spec info of VGA built on Asus P5GC-MX 1333 whether 64 Mb or 128 Mb. Many thanks & regards, Richard

you can use up to a maximum of 224 mb of your computer's RAM for the onboard video chip to use. You can install a video card with any amount of memory (which would give you a lot better video performance).

I have a dell gx240 with a ati rage 16 mb agp

Um a ati rage 128 pro is not a very powerful card, and after win 98 there isn't any support for direct3d or opengl. So you will need to upgrade to a better card if you expect to play games.
