Get rid of "Out Of Range" message on e218c1 monitor.

The device driving the monitor is exceeding the horizontal and vertical frequencies that the monitor can display .....thus the "out of range". The specs for this state that the Horizontal Freq. is 80Khz and the Vertical Rate is 75hz. If you are driving this monitor from a computer running Windows, reboot the PC and use the F8 key to put it in SAFE mode. This will cause the video driver to default to a rate that the monitor can handle. Then go into the screen resolution settings and reset them. The native resolution of the monitor is 1680x1050 at 60 Hz. Exceed that and you'll get the "out of range"

My monitor is not supported vga, message comes out of range

If the message says Out of Range, then your computer's motherboard is high end and thus needed a higher monitor specs like that of an LCD monitor.

Please let me know if you find this advice useful or if you needed further assistance.

Showing message out of range

Your monitor settings within windows are set too high for the monitor to display... When computer first boots.. be ready and press the F8 key...
Enter safe mode.. Reset the display properties in control panel to 800 by 600 for a start. Setting the resolution too high past the monitors ability will give you that message.. Most monitors are able to display 1024 by 768 just fine.. Out of range.. means the display settings within windows are out of the monitors range of ability to display the screen resolution you have set... Good luck!!

Hdmi to dvi

This message may occur if the signal from the video adapter exceeds the scan range of the monitor (monitor not HD enabled).

The video adapter setting on PS3 for updating the screen (the refresh rate) is incompatible with the monitor.
