This is no help whatsoever but I found your question following a search after having EXACTLY the same problem. Do you get 'no support' on-screen? I have a horrible feeling I might having broken the socket moving my desktop around :-( I'm wondering if there's an engineers code or something you can input to reset the tv? Tried different cables and peripherals with exactly the same results as you said - no joy. I'll let you know if I find any solutions..
I had the same problem with my 32" Hannspree HDTV. It suddenly started giving me a "no signal" message. The ports stopped working one-by-one until 3 of them were dead and only one worked. I followed the instructions offered here by Aaron_rob789, except I left my TV unplugged for only 30 seconds before plugging it back in. When I turned the TV back on, all 4 HDMI ports were restored and working perfectly. Thank you, Aaron_rob789!
SOURCE: XBOX 360 will not display on my TV NOW!!! HELP!!
Sometimes cables will just go out, especially standard ones that come in the box on gaming consoles, DVD players, etc. My recomendation would be to narrow it down to either a problem with the XBOX, the TV, or the cable.
Step 1: Find a friend with another TV to try the cable and console on. If this works, we can automatically determine that the problem is with the TV, however it most likely isn't.
Step 2: If you know someone with an XBOX, take your console to their house and connect it to their TV with their functioning cable. If this works, we can rule out the gaming console.
If Step 1, 2 yield no results, then the problem most likely is with the cable. You can pick one of the up pretty cheap on Ebay, Buy.com, etc. However, I would recommend going with an HDMI if you get to this step. You will experience much higher quality picture, sound, etc, and have a much higher gaming experience than before.

HI:
You need to replace the analog board assembly, this is the board that you plug connections into, seems the HDMI port has malfunctioned, there may also be a problem with the main board assembly that the analog board connects to.
SOURCE: TV wont detect HDMI Devices except a pc.
Something is wrong whith the HDMI jack it's self, or the electronic switching is not sensing a signal is present. In either case the board that has the HDMI jack you are using needs to be replaced. Most all these boards are double printed, Multi-layered or both which prevents replacing the jack it's self. I do have a question though, do you only have on HDMI jack on the unit or do you have another one available.

You have to use the scart connector for on screen menu settings. Go to the video option and enable HDMI and/or match resolution output to your set.
You did not mention the model of the TV so here is another scenario,
Just because the TV is 1 year old doesn't mean that it is a 1080p capable, you could have set the HDMI resolution settings to 1080p and you will not get any picture if your set cannot process the information.
