you need to replace the blade drive assembly every 4-6months if your a busy groomer.

With the clipper running, grasp the blade set by the edges and flip it down away from the clipper on its hinge. Simply slide it forward off the tang and slide another blade while the clipper is running. Snap it up toward the clipper and you're set.

Power goes in and out
Depending on how much use it's gotten or the way it's been stored when not in use it could be a cord issue, either a wire that's not connected completely anymore or a faulty wire. Is the power going to the clipper effected at all if you bend of wiggle the cord when this happens?

How to replace cord on andis ultra edge clipper
Sounds like the screws have a nut on the backside that is spinning. Andis are usually pretty simple to repair and well made. You might also just cut the wire a little farther back and solder the new wire to the wires coming off the screws.

My andis agc2 clippers will not cut hair now.They are also a little noisy.The blades have been sharpened and are oiled.
Providing the clipper blades have been correctly sharpened try replacing the blade drive assembly which wears in width and can cause numerous problems.
