Need parts My Haier unit blew a fuse and I cannot find anyone who carries a 12 amp 125 volt fuse like it. Where do I get parts?

In addition to a faulty humidistat sensor, there are 5 basic, yet solvable reasons for what you described. Please pay particular attention to numbers 1 & 2.

1. The humidity extraction level is set to HIGH. Lower it to 32-35%.

2. Air intake filter is dirty or clogged. Turn unit OFF, & Unplug the
Unit, before removing to inspect & clean it, if necessary. If washed,
allow filter to completely dry before reinstalling. DO NOT operate
the unit without the filter.

3. Obstructed air flow. Maintain a minimum of 12 to 18" of clear air
space around the entire unit.

4. Cooling coils are dirty and need to be cleaned. Use warm water & dish washing liquid to
clean the coils. Rinse and wipe dry. Apply a light coating of WD40 to the coils.

5. Ambient air temperature at floor level is between 40 - 60 degrees.
dehumidifiers do not work well between those temperatures
(Unless, you have a Low Temp Unit). This applies mainly to
where the air temperature at floor level is colder than at shoulder level
in basement applications. Raising the unit up off the floor,
onto a sturdy table, counter top, etc, that can handle the weight
of the unit, plus a full tank of water, will usually resolve this
problem.

If none of the above solves the problem, contact Haier Customer Support 1-877-337-3639, before your warranty expires.Haier units will generally show an E1 code if a sensor or circuit is faulty and unit will not run at all.

The compressor has locked up and will not start...this is terminal and will cost more to replace it then the unit is worth...
unfortunately you will have to replace the unit with a new one...

This unit has a 12 amp 125v glass tube fuse on the control board. Chances are you blew this fuse. This can happen if the unit is starved for air and ices up. you must take the front of this unit off to access the fuse of this control board.

You could either have a dead short somewhere or a seized compressor.

you would be better to go to an auto store sometimes they have what you would need in cases like this

Haier Part No. AC-3050-02 or AC305002. Google it. Three vendors sell this fuse ranging from $1.73-$1.95 each.

Unplug it. Just open the back up carefully. Don't touch those cute little capacitors, diodes, etc., because they can hold a charge. Look for a glass fuse. Use a fuse puller or grab it with your fingers. Look to see if that little thin wire inside is broken.

If yes, then go to Radio Shack or auto parts store and have them match it by size and amps. Reinstall and plug the DH in to see if that was the problem.

If it blows again, you have other elect problems.

There is an internal fuse. Take off the outer plastic casing. The fuse is on the bottom of the board on the upper right of the unit. It's a 12 amp fuse. I had the same problem and found the fuse blown.
