Question about Kenmore 22422 Top Load Washer
I was fixing some minor problems when I had the machine on its' back side a pin fell out. I wasn't sure where it came from; looked but to no avail. I put everything back togther and the spin cycle didn't work so back apart thinking the pin was the problem but I remembered a connector that I left loose. While I had the machine on its' back I was using a very bright light and found a small plastic bottle with a pin in it. Upon further investgation found another bottle but no pin. Perfect fit of the original pin that I found. Leading to my puzzling question, WHAT IS FUNCTION OF THESE TO PILL BOTTLES AND PINS?
The pins are shipping pins, heldin by cotter pins to prevent the tub from shifting in delivery, when the unit is set up initially, the shipping cord releases all the pins ans instead of having htem hit the floor they fall into conviently located plastic cups. they have no function past that you can discard them
