Hoe do i cgange my tv from 60Hz to a 50Hz

is there no small slide switch at the back of the tv
10 volt difference
may need an converter to make up 10 volts

The more significant difference is that 60Hz systems usually use 110V (120V) or thereabouts for the domestic power supply, while 50Hz systems tend to use 220V, 230V etc

I made the mistake of selecting the largest of the resolution settings of 1920x1080-50Hz. The CVD601 DOES NOT HAVE A RESET BUTTON! You have to do all your business on screen. So to regain my setting of 1280x720-60Hz, I disconnected from my TV and hooked up to my computer monitor. At that point, I got my picture back and went to settings. Upon restoring the settings in TV Screen Resolution to: 1280x720-60Hz just click and exit. In the US everything is based on the 60Hz cycle. Hence the hickup when you pick anything in the 50Hz cycle. The TV should run on the 50hz. You will need the proper power cord as the prongs are different. The power supply should switch automatically but I would confirm this with Sony. I can't see anything in my information that says otherwise.

The North American power is 60hz and 110 volts while the Euro is 50hz and 240 volts. So you don;t want to force it too much or you could make expensive smoke ;-] With the proper cord you should just have to plug it in. If the video is fine with HDMI then you should be up and running.

no only the voltage is critical.the only point is you have to select right counrty and tv sound and picture system on setup menu!

most likely something it is set to NTSC 60hz
it needs to be PAL 50hz

its the current frequesncy what he told you.. in US they use current of 60hz frequecny....

the place you live in use 50hz.. that is the reason...
