Lay your tv on its back and then look under the stand part and you will see the bolts or screws holding the stand in place.

SOURCE: how to remove the stand from samsung LCD TV

Place the tv on its screen flat on a soft surface,
you need to remove all the screws, not just the stand one marked.
Lift the back panel and then you will be able to slide down the stand, when you have removed the back cover you will also see where how your wall mount will fit to the chassis.
Place all the screws back on the back lid.

SOURCE: toshiba 52 inch flatscreen

I have just completed removing tha base from a Toshiba 52 inch HDTV. There are 5 screws in total. Three about 8 inches form the base and another 2 about 4 inches from the base in the arrangement shown below

(X) is a screw
(l) center line

X X X 3 screws 8 inches from base
X l X 2 screws 4 inches from base
______l______ The base

Keep your feet clear as your undoing the last screw..the base slides out vertically downward and weighs about 10-15 pounds so keep your the toes, fingers etc safe. The risk of being sued may explain why Toshiba didn't this publish in the US manual.

All you need to do is remove the two long screws on the back of the tv panel just above the stand, then the two short back panel screws AND the three short screws just above the two panel screws and the stand will come right off. DO NOT remove any of the other screws in the perimeter of the back panel. There is no need.
After much trial and error this is the correct and EASY procedure for this apparently troublesome task. Good Luck !!

SOURCE: Wall mounting Panasonic Viera 32" tv

There's a little more elaboration required on the above post...You need to remember that the base has two long pins that go up into the TV. These pins are held in by two screws each. The screws are on each side of the TV (two vertical inline screws, inside a small inset section). Remove all four screws and the TV will come up off the base. Pull it straight and gently, but firmly, to unseat it from the pins.

SOURCE: how do I remove the stand to mount the TV on the

the TV will mount to the wall via the VESA screw mounts on the back of the LCD. If it is a smaller, monitor sized LCD then the screw pattern will be either 75x75mm or 100x100mm. On larger TVs is it usually 100x200mm. Sometimes the base is screwed into this mount and othertimes to the bottom. Simply unscrew it from the screen. Be sure that the wall mounting kit can handle your LCDs VESA screw pattern, screen size and screen weight.

Try to mount TV to the wall and need to release the TV stand

To Display your LCD TV using a Wall Bracket:

If you decide to wall mount your LCD TV, always use a ULlisted wall bracket appropriate for the size and weight of the LCD TV: 32HL37/32HL37U/32HL17/32HL17U: 38.6 lbs (17.5 kg)

37HL17: 46.3 lbs (21.0 kg)

42HL17: 59.5 lbs (27.0 kg)
1) CAUTION: Two people are required for installation.

2) Unplug and remove any cables and/or other component connectors from the rear of the TV.

3) Follow the instructions provided with your wall bracket. Before proceeding, make sure the appropriate bracket(s) are attached to the wall and the back of the TV as described in the instructions provided with the wall bracket.

4) After attaching the appropriate bracket(s) to the wall and the back of the TV, remove the pedestal stand from the TV as described below.

Removing the Pedestal Stand

1) Carefully lay the front of the unit face down on a flat, cushioned surface such as a quilt or blanket. Leave the stand protruding over the edge of the surface. Note: Extreme care should always be used when removing the pedestal stand to avoid damage to the LCD panel.

2) Remove the jack pack cover on the back of the TV to expose the pedestal stand screws. The jack pack cover can be removed without tools.

3) Remove the five screws. This will allow removal of the pedestal stand.

4) Once you have removed all five screws holding the pedestal stand in place, remove the pedestal stand from the TV by sliding the pedestal stand away from the TV.

Removing back stand supports

First I am not to sure about the brand you got there, But if it is not wall supportable you do not need to reove anything but by a wall mount that will hold the bottom in place and yes there are wall mounts for this tpye of arrangment see not all flat panels go on walls thus hence you cannot remove the stand easy. Try finding a wall mount the has a L shape to it, it will hold the bottom of the tv and it comes with a little strap to hold it back into securement. Please do not try to remove the stand I would suggest a diffrent wall mount- Rulds2008 TV expert for 20 years

Cannot Remove Stand From TV

There should be two screws on the back of the television toward the bottom. If you remove those you should be able to slide out the stand for wall mounting. But please be careful. If you damage the television attempting this then you can lose your warranty. The manufacturer recommends professional installation only for mounting your television to the wall. Good luck. :)
