There could be a few reasons why you are hearing an error tone when replacing the batteries in your Schwinn Airdyne computer. Here are a few possibilities:
The batteries may not be properly seated in the compartment. Make sure that the positive and negative terminals are facing the correct direction and that the batteries are fully seated in the compartment.
The batteries may be dead or low on charge. If the batteries are old or have not been used for a long time, they may not have enough charge to power the computer. Try replacing the batteries with new ones to see if that resolves the issue.
The computer may be damaged. If the error tone persists even after replacing the batteries with new ones, there may be an issue with the computer itself. In this case, it may be necessary to have the computer professionally repaired or replaced.
It's also worth noting that some models of the Schwinn Airdyne may have a "low battery" warning feature that sounds an alarm when the batteries are running low. In this case, the error tone may be a normal part of the bike's operation and not necessarily indicative of a problem.
I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if you have any further questions or need more assistance.
find a running sr 250 and swop his cdi unit with yours if the bike runs, fine. if not put his cdi back in and try again. if the good bike now starts it will indicate that your cdi is faulty. the cdi is located under the tank inside the frame. don't buy a second hand cdi unless you can test it on a working bike. they are very expensive and you don't want to buy a dud

Sports Store? Do they also sell fishing tackle, skis and appliances? Take it back and buy a real bike at a real Bicycle Shop.
It will be fully functional and fitted to your son before you take it home and in a month or so they'll probably re-tune the shifting and everything for free.
!980 gS750l HAS A SCREW HEAD TYPE PETCOCK. IT LOOKS LIKE THE LEVEL IS MISSING BUT THAT IS THE STOCK PIECE. TWO SCREWS HOLD THE PETCOCK TO THE TANK. REMOVE THOSE AND THE PETCOCK BASICALLY FALLS OFF. YOUR NEW ONE SHOUILD HAVE AT LEAST THE SAME BASE WITH THE SAME DISTANCE BETWEEN THE SCREW HOLES.
Hi Nilesh, it depends what are you looking for in a bike, the looks, the speed , the reliability, toughness and easy maintenance one and last off course the one tht can suit your pockeet!
Being in Mumbai , I guess there are so many bikes around, try to get a on hand opinion from the users who already have the type of bike you want to buy, tht way you will have a very frank opinion and thus you can decide wwhat to go for!
