I just got my iPhone in, and I have a very frustrating problem. The GPS system never seems to find the right location for where I am. If I'm standing out in my driveway and I click my ''Current Location'' is shows that I'm 3 blocks east of where I actually am.
I went to my friends house and he wanted to try the locations and it showed up I was 2 blocks south of where I actually was.
Is there some sort of fix to correct this issue?
Currently I have an 8GB iPhone 3G (newest model) with the most updated firmware available.
This may seem like a silly question, but do you have GPS turned on in settings?
If you try to find your location without GPS on (it won't automatically turn it on) it will use cell towers to triangulate your position.
When your not using GPS, turn it off, it's a battery hog.
Good Luck,
Simon.

Where is the setting to turn it on? Is it where it says "Location Services" in General? If so it's set to on (and it still says I live in the mall two blocks away from my house) lol
