It seems like the picture is fine but there is a black distortion that covers the right side of the screen when the movie is playing. You can almost see the movie in the background but the black box makes it hard. We have not had any luck in finding out how to fix this and Im trying to sell the Tahoe but need this fixed first.

I solved the problem by spraying WD40 into the front side of the seat support that was sticking. This support has a rubber closure to protect the mechanics of the seat. After spraying a generous amount of WD40, I waited about 5 minutes and tried the lever to fold the seat. It worked and still does.

I have fixed many of these with this problem.. I have found the wires from the unit to the screen that pass thru where it folds break. to fix it you have to remove and completely dis-assemble it, which is kind of a pain.... not guaranteed your problem, but the only problem I personally have had from that unit..
