If your GE GFW650 front-load washer is skipping directly to the end of the cycle without spinning the clothes dry, there are a few possible causes that you can investigate: 1. Unbalanced Load: If the load of laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum, the washer may not be able to balance it properly during the spin cycle. This can cause the washer to skip the spin cycle and go directly to the end. Try rearranging the clothes in the washer and restarting the cycle. 2. Blocked Drainage: If the washer is unable to drain water from the drum, it may skip the spin cycle and go directly to the end. Check for any blockages in the drainage system, such as a clogged drain hose or filter. Clean or replace any blocked components. 3. Faulty Motor: If the motor that drives the spin cycle is malfunctioning, it may cause the washer to skip the spin cycle and go directly to the end. This is a more serious issue that may require a professional repair. 4. Malfunctioning Control Board: If the washer's control board is malfunctioning, it may not be able to properly control the spin cycle. This can cause the washer to skip the spin cycle and go directly to the end. Again, this is a more serious issue that may require a professional repair.
If none of these solutions work, or if you are uncomfortable performing any of the troubleshooting steps, it may be best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and repair the issue.
I have thata probelm a lot too. I have read that the controls don't sense that the door fully shut. You might try slamming it shut, jiggling the door, poking in the hole where the latch goes. When mine won;t spin, slamming and jiggling works.
is your "anti-siphoning" valve or pump plugged with lint, etc. debris from previous laundering, also if it dries them sufficiently the 2nd time this is where I would start trouble-shooting the washer
check that you do not have the crease gaurd or rinse hold button depressed? does it spin at all can you put it on a spin cycle with clothes in and no clothes in?
Some front loaders have a super high speed at the end of the spin. Front loaders don't like small loads, the laundry does not spread out evenly enough for a balanced spin.
it will fill but won,t spin, will throw out water as if it washed, then it take water to rinse but won,t spin ,then will throw out water as if it did , but clothes are soaked
hello **** theres a circuit board on the back or on the side called a module this controls the spin cycle there could be dry joints on the board or component may have fail good luck
