It allows me to configure it but after a warm/cold boot the settings are gone. please help
You can make your profile cold boot persistent by following these steps. Create the profile. Once saved click on your wireless icon and select options. Scroll down to export. Select the export all profiles and press ok to finish creating the .reg file.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this question. You might want to give a little more detail. Do you have a single slot cradle? You'll want to get one if you don't have one. Then you connect the cradle to the PC using a standard USB cable.
To be able to browse the files on the PDA from the PC, and copy files to it, install software on it through the USB connection, etc, you will want to download and install ActiveSync on your PC. Just google ActiveSync and you will find it on Microsoft's web site. It is a free download.

Depends... does it have a laser scanner (beam) or a digital imager (picture)? www.LexiconTech.com can provide more help.
SOURCE: I have a symbol 9090 scanner and when the batteris
Hello rcatron. I think I can help hammer-out your issue. The MC9090 has a backup battery similar to a BIOS battery on a PC motherboard. What this does is holds a constant charge so that the unit's settings are always active and ready to be recalled when it starts up. Generally speaking: if the settings aren't coming back after you reset the unit, it would mean that the backup battery has lost it's charge and with that the ability to hold the configuration (cache/flash) data. However, since all of your units are doing this (correct?) I highly doubt that all of their backup batteries have gone belly-up simultaneously. There a couple causes that immediately come to mind.
If neither of these apply, then please feel free to send me a message or an email and I will be happy to help you troubleshoot further. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Hi Guys,
Thank you for the answers.
i have a single slot cradle, what happens is that i add a wlan profile and after rebooting or/and taking out the battery then my profile is gone.
My profile is on static IP adress setting so i have to go after a reboot to add this.
So meaning after every warm boot i have to recreate a profile.
Please help.
