My mouse is set to single click, but it double clicks instead. It hasn't always done this, and I don't recall any particular event that made it start. Help! There is a possibility that on the windows operating system (control panel/ mouse) the option to double click with a single touch is turned on. I doubt that it is a problem related to the wireless system itself.
Check mouse settings in control panel. There is some options for double click speed and many other options check once . If double click speed is high then system behaves like this. try to change
First make sure your settings have not changed. Click on Start>Control Panel>Mouse and you will be in mouse properties. Check Buttons tab to make sure it is set with double-click speed as slow..
in most cases the best thing to do is to change ur mouse, but i would also suggest u try to use a mouse pad, some paints have a problem when using optical mouse
