No remote.... i'm trying to follow the instructions for bypassing the brake code, however all inst, are very specific in stating that i need to be using the remote. is there any other way, or does it make a difference if I dont have the remote to use? please help, i am so tired of trying to figure this out. 1. Turn on the projector and wait for the "Enter Password" prompt to appear.
2. Press the "Menu" button on the projector itself.
3. Navigate to the "Setup" or "Options" menu using the arrow buttons on the projector.
4. Look for an option called "Security" or "Password" and select it.
5. Depending on your projector model, you may need to enter a default password such as "1234" or "0000" to access the security settings.
6. Once you are in the security settings, look for an option to disable or reset the password.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to disable or reset the password.

if nothing else just use the "key in the box" method for bypassing the explorer, only thing is you will loose a key, good luck

You can doing using a toggle switch inline on the brake wire . If you have the remote then there is a sequence code you can put in which consists of ,
ok this is very easy
1. have your player on radio (am/fm)
2. go to settings (must have a remote)
3. click the language button (next step is where you need the remote)
4. type in the following numbers 543210 (make sure you hear the beep)
5. a new menu appers after the code (hard-drive)
6. click on the break-bypass button
7. turn on the bypass
8. click the x on the bottom of screen
9. your all set now you have your player unlocked so you dont need the parking break
10. REMEMBER SAFETY IS FIRST PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS UNIT PAY ATTENTION TO THE ROAD AND NOT THE PLAYER YOUR LIFE IS MORE IMPORTANT THEN THIS DEVICE

They have it installed that way because they have signed a purchase agreement stating they will not bypass. If they do, they can lose the line.

Do this and you will never have to mess with the E Brake or any toggle ever again...:

1: Go into AM/FM mode
2: Hit "setup" on the remote control
3: Enter 543210 on the remote, listening for the beep for each number entered
4: A new menu will appear. Touch the button that has the hammer/screwdriver on it in the upper left-hand part of the screen.
5: Select Brake bypass to "ON" and hit the "X" near the bottom of the screen.
6: Use the unit wisely and above all safely. A ticket is one thing, causing a fatal accident due to negligence is another.
