Question about GE Refrigerators
Refrigerator is about 30 years old. Freezer on top. One door. Settings on dial are 1-7, defrost, off. Ice build up in freezer section. Need to defrost. What do I do?
I am assuming that at 30 yrs old, this is not a frostfree type
i defrost by taking all food out, wrap in a blanket and defrost with a hairdryer. don't point too close at plastics and don't let water drip on it. on no account use a knife to scrape ice away - use a plastic spatula
