I'm sorry that the Camcorder is displaying the error message. Please follow the troubleshooting steps provided below and check the operation:




1. Please insert a different disc and close the disc tray firmly.
2. Perform Reset by following steps:




1. Locate the RESET button behind the LCD panel of the camcorder.
2. Use a pointed object (like a ballpoint pen) to press and hold the RESET button for 2-3 seconds.
3. After 2-3 seconds has elapsed, release the RESET button.




3. Perform a manual power reset by following the steps:




1. Turn off the camcorder.
2. Disconnect AC power adapter.
3. Remove the battery pack.
4. Move the POWER switch to the CAMERA position for 15 seconds.
5. Move the POWER switch to the OFF position.
6. Reconnect the AC power adapter or reinsert the battery pack.
7. Turn on the camcorder.

Hi Jamiescoffee,

You may want to follow the below steps to disable Microphone:
(1)Right click on the speaker icon in the status bar.
(2)Select Recording device.
(3)Right click on Microphone array and disable it.

However, if you want to enable this later on you may just right click on the same screen and select show disabled device. Right click on the device and enable it.

Disable mic on xps m1730

Right click on the speaker icon in the system tray (bottom right, next to the date/time) and select recording devices. It will give you a list of whatever devices you have on your computer that are designated to record sounds. Choose the on board microphone, right click, and select disable device.

Win 7 - Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Manage Audio Device > Sound. Mute mic in Recording.

Device not detected

Try going into the BIOS (or CMOS) of your computer and look for
Legacy USB Enabled/Disabled
If it is set to Enabled, set it to Disabled
If it is set to Disabled, set it to Enabled

This sometimes fixes these kind of problems.

click start control panel hardware and sound manage audio devices playback then select speakers you will se a list configure test disable set as default show disabled show diconnected.right click on speakers make sure they are enabled also select the recording tab you will see microphone midi right click on microphone and midi make sure ticks are in boxes show disabled devices and show disconnected devices

Sound recording device disabled. enable of soud recording device

1. Open the all users, specific users or groups, or all users except administrators Local Group Policy Editor for how you want this policy applied.
2. In the left pane, click on User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, and Sound Recorder. (See screenshot below)

3. In the right pane, right click on Do not allow Sound Recorder to run and click on Properties. (See screenshot above)

your mic is disabled please go to the audio devices and check the setting recording device should be your built in microphone and should be selcted down use this device

Disabled internal mic on toshiba satellie A200

I've just had this problem and fixed it.

Right click anywhere in the "Recording" tab of your sound options. (the place where you disabled this mic) and click "show disabled devices".

Then simply enable it. Hope this helps.
