Hi, this is a common situation that can be fixed yourself. There is a small dome shaped screen in the threaded inlet that the hose couples to. This screen gets clogged up with sediment from the water over time and needs to be rinsed out or replaced,if damaged. They can be purchased at the Hardware Store. If you can't dislodge it with your finger, bend the tip of a straight pin or needle, hold it with pliers and snag the screen, give a little pull. Put the screen back in,making sure it is seated straight.

Thank you.

Hi

This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

The washer pauses mid-cycle. The pump filter is not clogged. After watching the GE video on how to unclog the pump filter, it said if the pump filter was not clogged there may be an imbalance problem. ...

Make sure that your cold water side of the water valve on the back of the unit is no clogged. Mid cycle is usually when the rinse cycle begins and that usually only uses cold water.

Water won't drain from the tub, think the hose may be clogged. Is there any way to clean the hose without completely dismantling the machine? It does spin but the water won't completely drain out. We...

Hi,

Remove any kinks in the drain hose. Ensure that the washer is not sitting on the hose.

Inspect the household drain. Remove clogs, if possible. Call a plumber if you cannot remove the clogs.

Check the drain and make sure there is an air gap between the hose and drain. An air gap is necessary to prevent the drain hose from siphoning water.

Clean the pump filter. Open the pump access door. Turn the pump filter counter-clockwise and remove it. Remove dirt and debris. Replace the filter and close the pump access door.

Rearrange the clothing in the load. An unbalanced load can prevent the washer from spinning or draining.

Allow the washer to cool down for two hours. If the washer overheats, it will stop the motor and cool down before restarting.

Close the door completely. The washer will not operate if the door is not securely closed.

I hope the above helps.

Good luck.

Water leaking from bottom, lots of suds.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. This may happen due one or more than one of these issues with your washer--
Probably there is something(coins, socks, dirt, debris, etc) stuck inside the drain filter of your washer. You'll need to check the drain filter. To access the drain filter. To check the drain pump follow these steps:

Unplug the washer to completely disconnect electrical power.Remove the bottom front service panel as shown in the first image below.

Also check your drain hose for a kink or clog. Check the washer house drain for a clog or restriction. Test the washer to see if it will drain properly.

This issue can also be due to clogged drain pump or drain filter, due to which the hose have developed leak. This will cause suds

Please rate the solution if you find it useful and helpful.

Thanks

Wht does the code OE Mean I can't find my manual for my LG 2077 washer

HI. this code represents a drainage problem. The drain hose may be bent or clogged with debris or, it may be a clogged drain filter as well. I recommend cleaning and straightening the drain hose and i would also clean the drain filter. this should fix the issues you are having with this washer.

please rate and god bless.
