The most likely issue is your power supply is failing. Most likely issue that would cause this problem is bad capacitors on the power supply.
What happens in the above situation is:
After the Tv has been off for some time the electronics and capacitors are cool and supply the correct voltage so the TV turns on.
After using the TV the electronics heat up and the material in the capacitors expands causing the power supply to supply incorrect voltage. With the TV the power is flowing and is close enough to the correct values for the TV to stay on, after being shut off the TV will not turn back on because correct voltage is not present until the components cool down and the voltage at power on no longer engages the protection circuit.

My 40" Soniq tv wont turn on?it was working this morn.I switch it of abouut 5 hours ago and ive tryed turning it on for about an hour?Ive unplugged tv from power board for 10 mins, plugged it back in and it...

Are you tech savvy?...I can give you some voltages to test if you're able to do that, if you aren't then you have 2 choices, take it somewhere to be serviced but expect to pay between 75 and 100 dollars an hr for tech time plus parts or replace the set with a new one.

My 60" lcd projection tv wont turn on sometimes and throws a lamp light, and if i watch tv for a while and turn it off it wont turn back on and throws the red lamp light

The buzzing sound you most likely hear is the ballast trying to fire up the lamp. I would say replace the lamp and yes they can act up at will. If this is the first lamp replacement ever then you are doing good.
