When i plug the phone into the charger the blue bar across the bottom of the screen starts to move like before, from left to right, but about halfway across screen it cuts off and then starts again. Until the blue bar moves completely from left to right the battery icon will not begin to show that its filling up, ie:receiving a charge. please help as I can't really afford another phone right now, with 3 grandsons under the age of three to raise. Please Help, Allison
How did you dry it out? Try putting it in dry rice, then in front of a fan. Then try charging it again.

Try to format your phone, use the following steps.
Switch off the phone. Press phone on again. Now hold down the following three buttons: Green (call answer) button, (* )button, and '3' button. Format is complete when you see 'Choose Country' option. All your data in phone memory will belost, but your data in the memory card will still be there. if this does not work, take your phone to the service center and have it flashed

i had that same exact problem, with my razr so i just went out and bought a new battery for like 15 dollars, and now it works like a charm :)

The problem is most likely the battery which you can purchase HERE
---If you know someone with the same phone, ask to try theres.
It's more of a personal choice of if you want to try purchasing a battery or upgrading your phone. You can then put your SIM card in the new phone and it's as simple as that. (phone must be for the same service provider as the old one)
