5 beeps with the 3 temp lights flashing means lids not closed. or lid switch not working
i just fixed this problem. the magnet in the lid had come loose. I undid the two screws on the side of the lid put the magnet back where it should sit then i poured candle wax over it to hold it in place and working fine now.
If no power and youve done the basic checks - there is a little glass fuse in the top of the machine. Disconect machine from power point then unsecrew the 2 screws and gently lift the control panel. the fuse is esily seen. Try replacing with e new fuse like I did.
Hi I have an Eziset 550 and am having difficulty with lint on my clothes. Have tried to remove the agitator, to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas? This m/c was left to me by my late father and I know it is only about 3 years old.
Thanks
I have an eziset 750. Same problem with not starting the cycle and three water temp lights on with beeping. Turns out it is the same warning that is given for having the lid open during operation. Found the lid switch and gave it a clean. Works now but expect the lid swtich will need replacing eventually.
'beeping alarm starts with the three water temp lights flashing'..I would agree with lid switch not working. The manual says 5 beebs with temp lights flashing is from faulty lid switch.
I just had mine replaced.
'Lint problem' Have you lifted out the piece in the middle of the washing machine and cleaned the mesh? That is your lint catcher. It just pulls straight up and out.
To remove the agitator you need a 10mm socket with a couple of extensions.

Absolutely the same thing! Just looking for an answer because it seems completely stuck now. Really hope you get an answer! Am looking for my manual now...
HI and thanks for that input. The machine is fixed now, it turned out that we had a five year warrantee on it so the service man was called for this one.The switch in the lid was replaced and it has been working fine. Repair man did say this is about the only fault these machines develop other than ones caused by overloading. I did have a look at that switch before he came and I think the average handyman could replace it without too much bother just make sure its unplugged etc.
can you tell me where the switch is I can't see it
I have an eziset 750
