Sounds like either the water valve is bad or the line is plugged or frozen somewhere. To check the valve pull the water line off where the water feeds the reservoir have somebody try to dispense water you should have water coming out.If not try to dispense water again and listen for a slight buzzing noise if you hear the buzzing noise and you get no water the valve is bad.Always check the lines for freezing or restrictions before you replace the valve.

SOURCE: Our Maytag icemaker stopped making ice suddenly

Does the water have a good flow ? Did you try putting the old filter back in ? Never change the filter just because a little red light comes on . Only replace when the ice cubes get small or the water dispensor flow gets slow . I have found new filters that were bad . Distributors make a lot of money for filters just because of that little red lite . Not just maytag , but all other brands also . Try pouring about 1/2 cup of water into icemaker . If it dumps the cubes but doesn't fill , replace the water valve . If it doesn't dump , and holds the cubes for a long period of time , replace the icemaker . Also , you may need to clean the coils of dust , lint , etc....

SOURCE: Maytag Model MSD2651HEW - Changed Filter and

Was the pressure ok before you changed the filter? The water valve itself could be partially plugged or the supply line may be filling with minerals. Usually happens in the piercing tap used to attacc to the house line. Difficult to say for sure without seeing the way it is installed. If it was just the drinking water I would suggest the reservoir being froze up but since it affects both look at my initial comments...

I have LG refrigerator LSC27950, there is ice in the icemaker& when I press the lever I hear humming noise for water and clicking noise for ice, but no ice or water are dispensing?

The error code dH on your LG refrigerator is indicating a water supply problem. This could be caused by a few different issues:
  1. Clogged or frozen water line: The water line supplying the icemaker and water dispenser may be clogged or frozen. This can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. Check the water line and make sure that it is not clogged or frozen.
  2. Water inlet valve: The water inlet valve that supplies water to the ice maker and dispenser may be faulty or clogged. This can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. You can check the water inlet valve and make sure it is functioning properly or if it is clogged.
  3. Water filter: A clogged water filter can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. If your refrigerator has a water filter, make sure that it is not clogged and has been replaced recently.
  4. Water pressure: If the water pressure is too low, it can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. Make sure that the water pressure in your refrigerator is adequate.
You should first try to check the water line, water inlet valve, water filter, and water pressure. If none of these solutions work, please contact a professional technician or LG customer service to diagnose and fix the problem.

I have an Amanda double Door refrigerator with an ice & water dispenser. The ice machine unit's dose not dispense ice cubes,

If the unit is making ice and the water will work from the door but the does not dispense, you will need to replace the "auger motor". Here is the part to order.

Whirlpool refrigerator won't make ice--just out of warranty

I would have to say control board but you could look for a bin level switch. This is what tells the machine that the ice Bin is full. If it is duty or damaged the machine will never make ice as it thinks there is enough already there

GE Model TFX25JPCC AA water is door has stopped working replaced water valves and it still does not work.Replaced water filter and it still does not work. Can hear solenoid click when pushing in dispense...

I know this is basics, but did you check that you have water entering from the house? And did you purge the air out of the water system of the refrigerator? If not you should.
One vital piece of information you didn't provide is whether your ice maker is producing ice or not. If it isn't then make sure you purge the air from you system.

Water dispenser and ice maker are not working, water supply to refrigerator is ok.

Check / replace the filter. Many fridges have a filter readily accessible from the fresh food compartment. The filter should be changed at regular intervals for best performance. A filter that is never changed will reduce and eventually stop water flow through it.

Check the temperature of the fresh food compartment near the filter. It may be "flirting" with the 32 degree mark. If it is this low, water has turned to ice - and will stop water from flowing. Bump the temperature up a tad to see if it solves the problem.

Lastly, the water supply solenoid may have failed. You didn't provide the model fridge - so I can't give specific info about it - but many fridges have one or two solenoids at the rear of the fridge for water supply and ice makers. You should hear a clicking sound from the rear of the fridge on many models when dispensing water or when the ice maker cycles on. If one has failed, you may expect to pay about $15 to $50 for a replacement - depending model.

Typical GE Refrigerator Single Solenoid Water Inlet Valve "WR57X10033"

Solenoid valve replacement is pretty straight forward. Usually all the is needed are some simple hand tools and a rag to pick up spilled water. Make sure the water supply is shut off and unplug the fridge before attempting.

Hello,

i am wondering if ice is constantly getting stuck or are the cubes smaller that the size of the mold? if that is the case have you tried replacing the water filter. The typically reason ice gets stuck in the mold is because the individual cubes (usually 7 or 8 per mold) are too small, the leading cause of that is not enough water in the mold
Also is water dispensing through the door with good pressure, if no replace filter but first check the pressure of the incoming water from house plumbing

Those cylindrical shaped things with wires connected to it are solenoids. Each one with different purpose. One should be for the ice maker, and the other one for the water. It's best to have an assistant depress the water dispenser while you look back there if the solenoid opens the water valve at the bottom rear of the refrigerator. If the solenoid is bad, you would have to replace the whole solenoid assembly. The part itself cost at least one hundred dollars to about 170 dollars. You may also find out the cause of the leak while someone press the dispenser as you observe whats going on at the bottom rear of the unit. Good luck
