    fuse tested fine.

For some reason the original post was garbled.

The problem: Flashing red light and a intermittant flashing green light. The green light eventually goes out and the cycle begins again. Utimately both lights become solid and turn off completely. The cycle will only start over when power is unplugged and re-connected.

Clicking sounds (which have been normal on startup) can be heard.

There could be many options for u to check out this problem.as it could be the faulty fuse in the tv.its not to costly to replace it.aNd u said the click click noise that could be any of the capacitors getting short on the main board of the tv or they r slightly bursting on the board due to extra voltage.just have to be replaced to solve the problem.

Problem with Toshiba DLP Projection TV Model #52HM84

It is possible the lamps may be defective or that they may be the wrong replacement for this model, as it may have a different wattage setup with the ballast. If you want to try to order the TB25 lamp from a different vendor, you can order the original Toshiba replacement lamp for this model (52HM84) from a major Toshiba parts distributor at the link below:

TV has sound but no picture

It is possible one of the internal fuses blew out.
It could be a bad horizontal outut transistor.
It could be a bad secondary of the power supply went bad
And many other things.
If it's just a fuse, it won't cost much, but a lot of them do not look like you would expect a fuse to look like.It might be a little yellow, green, or gray rectangualar box shaped part. :D

Red light flashing while green light stays on

I have the same TV, your projection bulb has quit/failed.

A loud pop was heard and the picture has gone followed by a red led fault light clicking on and off.

if your tv is less than 1 year old, and you registered it with Toshiba, you could qualify for a free replacement.

otherwise expect to pay 200.00 for a new bulb from Toshiba.

only good thing is you can replace it yourself, only tool needed is a phillips screwdriver.

you can check EbaY for prices less than 175.00 to 150.00
i am on my 3rd bulb within 4 years....

good luck!
