That is a charge roller current leak. A current leak signal for
the charge roller is detected. Possible cause- charge roller damaged or high voltage supply board defective. Check the charge roller first. On the drum, the rubbery roller.
It depends on which Ricoh model.
Some Ricoh copier/printer use a corona wire for charging the drum, so SC302 means that the corona wire is ether broken or have some current leak. but in most case the wire is broken.
Other Ricoh copier/printer use a charge roller for drum charge, so on this model SC302 usually appear when the charge roller have a bad contact.
THE CHARGE ROLLER IS LEAKING BECAUSE THE DRUM ONE SIDE COATING IS DAMAGED. THE CHARGE VOLTAGE IS DIRECTLY GOING TO ALUMINIUM SURFACE. SO COVER THAT PART OF CHARGE ROLLER WITH A CELLO TAPE THE ERROR WILL NOT COME.
SC322: Laser Synchronization Error
Definition [B’]
The laser synchronization signal cannot be detected from the synchronization
detector even if the laser diodes are activated.
Possible Causes
• Poor connection between the laser synchronization detector and the LDB
• Laser synchronization detector out of position
• Laser synchronization detector defective
• LDB defective
• SICU defective
• Front door safety switches defective
If it's an SC302 it has to do with the Charge Corona output error 3.
Grid voltage error
Charge voltage leak.
This needs to be looked at by a technician to either clean or replace the corona wire or see if there is power problem going on.
