What is the source of the audio? I would start by checking that first. switch sources to see if the transmitter is the problem if the transmitter is only getting the right side signal, that's all you'll hear...hope this helps!

Other than this, I would try taking it apart and looking for broken wires on the left side of the headphones...sometimes the solder that holds the wires onto the speakers just needs to be redone. Do you have a volume control on these headphones?

Why no more sound in left side? the right side is fine. i moved the left side like a seesaw, then i found where the sound occur. is it the wire connection problem inside the left side? what to do?

Opened up one of the earcups and dont ask me how it was just by force. The cable that connects the 2.5 to the speaker is frail and there is quite a bit of shielded cable that can rub against each other over time. I fixed it by removing the cable and soldering in two separate cables of similar size.

Have Philips wireless headphones SBC HC 8445. Batteries appear to be charging and there is power. Works on left side but no sound on right side.

The speaker on the right side of the headphone is dead and shorted or might have lose wiring requiring repairing like resoldering or just tapping on the right on the right side it headphone might work.

Only right side works

hello rrwunsch!
please check wiring first to find out if headphones broken or it is a connectivity problem. for that, if you connect with rca plugs - change right to left and vice versa. if still left headphone has no sound so the speaker is blown. hope it is only wiring problem.

I have the RS120. It worked ok for about 2 years and then the right side stopped working. The left side works just fine. I opened up the sides and it seems that there is no broken solders or anything...

well it seems your right earpiece is started to get broken...clearly saying that the coil has static and would result to an open coil.....try to replace with a new one...good day...

Ive a problem with the volume of the headphones, the right one works fine but there is no sound from the left side....ive tested the headphones on other electronic equipment and the headphones work the...

Hi,,in most cases what causes one side of the headphone to work is because, the wire that is connected to speaker inside the headphone might have cut and it's not contacting properly.

What you will need to do is to open up the head phone (left),and check if the wire inside has not cut, If it has removed ,then you will need to put it back with soldering iron and a lead...

But if the wire inside has not removed and they are intact, then you will have to replace the left speaker .

Hope that helps...

Thanks for using fixya...

Headphones: only left speaker works

yes if you have a multimiter and a soler iron, just check the cable where is moving allot, for example for the headphones near the volume controler, near connector or near you eyers is more likely to brake

Bose Headphones only works on left side.

Have same problem. Play with the plug in the socket. I'll bet it you can occasionally get both working. Not a solution since it probably won't stay working. I have an old plug and it fails too. I'm afraid they did't make their plugs to the right tolerances. Used to work once. Annoying for this expensive a headphone.
