I for 1 don't know. But try to go to www.Turtle Beach.com they can help you out. I have Turtle Beach Ear Force XC1 and my mic I can talk but I can't hear anything but if your mic isn't working properly try using a different controller. If that doesn't help try getting a brand new mic.
This is a plug-n-play headset, so no special software is necessary for it
to work properly. You want to make sure the leads are plugged into the
right jacks on the computer and that the jacks are live.
Hai, if you see symbol headset on display screen, open your set, clean that pcb on charger n connector area, some time this happen during splash water. if pin of connector do not tuch on board, headset or car symbol will be apear on screen, ringtone cant be function thru loud speker..But if problem still happen, maybe tone in need to change.
the ear piece speaker which other speak into and you hear from
is damaged inside the phone and it needs to be replaced to get clear listening of calls
coming in.
When you replace it, you will start hearing clearly
again.
Check your spekers it its on mute or not,if it is reinstaal *********** bord cd and if it still not works re-instaal windown 89,xp,vista or windows 7 hope i was use full.
try uninstalling sound card from the device manager and reboot the computer.
if the mic does not return you may be missing a driver contact your laptop manufacturer or download new sound card drivers from the websight to restore mic function.
Have you tried using your X1 with an iPod or MP3 player? Try that, and if you hear sound through both sides of the headset from the MP3 player, then the problem is in the "Stereo Splitter Cable", which can be replaced. But if you only hear sound out of the left ear from the MP3 player, then the headset is probably broken and you should contact Turtle Beach tech support at [email protected].
either the headset is not supported by Vista, or you need to right click on both speaker icons, normally coloured red and black and in the properties you need to see if your headset is listed as one of the microphone input devices, if you need to make the Logitech headset the default mic and not the windows generic mic.
If you do not see it in the properties then it may not be recognised by Vista.
