Best way to be sure is call Philips customer service with the model number to get the thread type and length of these--no two sets are the same here---usually most will be available at local hardware stores if Phillips does not sell them(that would be a bit more pricey and take time).

SOURCE: Wall mounting Philips 32PFL6704D/F7

First of all a standard screw will not work. You will have to visit your local hardware store and purchase a machine screw to fix the problem. In many cases you will have to use an estimated guess and gamble your time and money. The length and width of the machine screw will be found at this store. The effort is miniscule and money will be meager. Remember, do not use a standard screw!

SOURCE: what size bolt screws into the back of the TV to

42" will more likely to use Metric M6 screws (canbe M5 but not likely), the length of the screws will depend on the thickness of the mounting plates. When you buy wall mounting kit, it will come with mounting screws. You can get Metric screw from HD or Lowe's for about 50 cents each.
I get my wall mounts from Costco and they come with a bag of Metric screws fro mounting.

I have a panasonic viera plasma tv model number TC-P60U50, where on tv do I put brackets to mount to the wall?

You will need to purchase a suitable wall mount separately. (You'll need one for LARGE TVs.) On the back of your TV set you'll see there are 4 holes in the lower-central region of the rear panel. They are about 20" apart (left-right) and about 12" apart (up-down) These should match up with the bracket that comes with your wall mount. You will need M8 metric screws that are about 1.25" long. These will also be included with the wall mount. (Which will include some general directions for wall mounting.)

Here is a manual for your TV:

I need to know the size of screws i neddto wall mount my tv

First you need a tv wall bracket made for that tv's weight and size to have a safe tv on your wall. The tv must be secured properly or it might fall. So the screws would come with this mounting kit and if they didn't I would fined out were they are. You must mount to a strong structure, like a stud in the wall or a metal frame built for it. The screws that I would use if might mounting kit did not have them would be as big as they would fit in the mounting bracket holes and that all the mounting holes wear being used and long enough to not be pulled out and in the stud about 3/4 of the way through the stud. They would be a good metal screw with a washer and the right threads for what ever material you are mounting it to. Thanks

What is the screw hole size in back of tv

The screw holes are metric. The set is supplied with M5x25 screws to attach the pedestal, so the wall mount screws will be in that same range.

Does model th-c42hd18 require only a panasocin wall mount bracket. Seems others do not work

I am not familar with your exact model but my Panasonic TH-42PX600U 42 in. Plasma uses a generic brand wall mount. The first mount I bought would not fit so I returned it and bought a different brand which worked well. Start shopping your local stores (even walmart has a couple of different types to choose from), carefully open the packaging in case you need to return it and see if it will fit the mounting holes on the back of your TV. If it fits on the back of the TV then you should be good to go.

How do i attach a Wall Mount to the TV?

Hi, Ok, great.Look at the back panel and you can see four holes spaced 4" between the top and bottom, and 16" from side to side. these are for universal mount. http://www.bestbuyplasma.com/Plasma/tvmounts_land.asp I think this clears your problem regards sreejith "Please use caution if wall mounting this product. Follow all directions from the manufacturer of the wall mount and be sure to securely fasten the product to the mount. While the TV can be wall mounted, improper wall installation may void the warranty."
