The location of the MB ID is expected to be in between the white PCI sockets. The lettering is so profound that you cannot miss it. hey.. if your chipset is getting heated badly. then that is a big problem..may be because you don't have proper cooling solutions in your cabinet, and now if it is not starting that means some of it's components like capacitors are blown off. you might have to buy new MB or if this is in warranty period then try to replace. and put some fans there dude good luck!!
