Hey, I have one model JVC av56p776 doesn't work anymore and don't know why, there is just no power going into the TV, anyway, I'm willing to sell it for 50 dollar if u want to salvage for parts. Contact me if you wnat it. [email protected]
Probably the projection guns (my JVC had them fail on me). It started that way and eventually I had a triple image of what was on TV, one in red, one blue, one yellow, and all slightly offset from each other. The fix was new projection guns (thankfully it was under warranty as they were about $300 each).
you need to replace both convergence ICs STK392-110 and you also need the JVC convergence resistor Kit # 1 . You can get them at the following link with free detailed instalation instructions. Heres the link. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
