Jvc tv picture quality

you have burnt the logo in to the tubes and will need to replace all 3 tubes.

You need to replace the convergence board in your tv .


Also you have mentioned it is 5 years old so its time to replace it .
But it will not be cost effective one .

Start by replacing STK's IC.

ch the stk 392-120 try to set the conv.or try to auto set conv. if work then ok if not work you and stk392-120 or 150 you need a sevice man for that.

Probably the projection guns (my JVC had them fail on me). It started that way and eventually I had a triple image of what was on TV, one in red, one blue, one yellow, and all slightly offset from each other. The fix was new projection guns (thankfully it was under warranty as they were about $300 each).

you need to replace both convergence ICs STK392-110 and you also need the JVC convergence resistor Kit # 1 . You can get them at the following link with free detailed instalation instructions. Heres the link.

replace 2 X convergence ICs and align. Maybe burnt resistors as well.
