The part is a "ribbon cable" for an lcd monitor...ribbon made by Youngshin (AWM 2896 30V 80C VW-1).

2 ribbon cables for a hp pavilion f1503 LCD monitor (the two from the AD board to the TCP)

The LCD panel is made by HannStar (HSD150SX84).

Also, looking for other LCD parts, particularly:
the AD board for a Proview Pro-576 (I assume Sylvania PL-576 & Mag LT576s are similar); Board #: 200-100-AS576 Rev: B MV5-S2?
It uses a sampo inverter (QPWBGL8621DG) & a AU Optronics M150XN05 LCD.

If you can see the backlight ,white 2pin connectors connect to invertor pCB.Look around these two connectors you should see 2 brown/yellow/red transformers with a ferrite core. These are the inverter transformers , resolder all pins and power transistors around it.
That should solve your proble.

Very dim to no display.

You will possibly, will have to replace the Inverter board, and/or the backlight, and maybe even the screen, start with an inverter board, and backlight, and if they do not fix it try the actual screen, really the only way to test without instruments is by swapping thing in & out.

My monitor is on then dims out

You could have a faulty inverter board or a faulty CCFL lamp. The inverter supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp and the CCFL lamp is a mini fluro tube.
Have a look at LCD Patrs WEB site for service, parts and DIY info Use this link to their WEB site :-

HP Pavilion F1503 1503 15in Flat. screen blanks out constantly

THis is a problem of the invertor board. If you are technically able you need to disasseble the monitor and resolder components around the red or yellow inverter transformers.

Pavilion f1503

Sounds like you have a problem in the inverter board. When you shut off the monitor the powers is being shunted from the input but the inverter is still energized and thus florescent is still lit. Please keep in mind that the voltage at the inverter can be lethal, so if you plan to open it, please keep this in mind. You can try to open the case and look for a rectangular board with two set of connectors that contain two cables. This is the inverter board and there will be a warning attached. check to see if you have a solder bridge, if not on the inverter, check the power converter or interface. If this does not work, check ebay for the same monitor that is broken: I.E. damaged screen. you can swap the parts until the problem goes away. Good Luck, and do be careful!!!!

Screen So Bright I Can Barely See Anything...

The auto dimming circuit on the ccfl inverter is out.  Replace the inverter and it should cure your problem.  Seek adult supervision for this repair. Do not try it by yourself.
