The USB port of a Computer may not provided the same amount of charging current as your wall charger. Do you have other power hungry devices connected to the computer? It may help to get a USB hub with external powersupply. If all else fails the iPad doesn't charge on any USB port, you may actually have a hardware issue. You can always take it to the apple store and demonstrate the problem there, you'll probably receive a replacement. If you have issues with the warranty, there are third party places that will find our what's wrong. If you want to do it yourself, the good news is, it's not too hard to open it. the only thing that i can be sure that would help is that you need to call the manufacturer and get a screen replacement because since the ipad is fairly new it wont have many guides or anything that can really fix a broken screen.

You can transfer photoes using "Bluetooth Photo Share" free app. You can download the same from App Store for free. Otheriwse, you may use Camera Kit as well. Let me know if this solution works for you or not.

Bluetooth trasnfer is going to be very slow. The best and speedy way is to sync it with iTunes unless you are transfering photos from another mobile or something.
