    the error light will not turn off, but i sent information for the printer to print

Turn on the printer and never turn off pause and error leds? and printer not response? Then the main logic board must be replaced.

I performed a CANCEL TEST

Turn the printer off
Press and hold Cancel button
turn power on
release cancel button when the leds turn on

That fixed the leds problem for me, but I can't still print :(

The mainboard does not need to be replaced, just the sensor head open is dirty and needs cleaned.

Printer does not come ready. power, pause and error light are on. nothing in display, display is lit. This seems to be very common problem on the z4m's & z6m's.

This is a very common problem with the units, your logic bd is bad and needs to be replaced or fixed. If instructions are needed on how to remove the logic bd please let me know I can post something up for you. I also carry the logic bds in stock if needed or I can repair them as well. Zebra Z4M only feeds a small portion of the label.
You should try a factory reset. Power off the printer. Hold the "pause" and "feed" buttons down while powering up. Allthe lights will blink and when they stop blinking, release the "pause" and "feed" buttons. This will factory reset the printer.

My Zebra Z4M printer's power, pause and error light are all constantly on.
Possibly the head open sensor is dirty and causes the LEDs light on. Clean the sensors and the plaque that is above them. Roberto Martinez Mexico [email protected]
