Hi ive got a fusion 4 corner encounter kit and ive lost the wiring diagram has anyone got it? thanks sean

Do the diagnostics on the fault code first. You have the Ford emissions system Troubleshooting repair manual correct? If not try eBay for that and a wiring diagram booklet called the Ford Vacuum and Electrical Troubleshooting guide.

The Haynes repair manuals are very good about showing the wiring diagrams for all wired connections. You can go to or contact the dealership and ask if they have one for free. Most wiring diagrams are going to cost if you have lost your owners manual.

You will need an adapter kit for the dash panel specific for the Fusion or a multi kit, both availible at an Auto Parts store. You should also buy the wiring harness for the Car as well, this will make life much easier on you! Connect the harness to the stereo, following the schematic/diagram. Pop the dash panel apart and remove the old stereo. Slide the adapter plate over the wires FIRST, then connect the wire harness, put the adapter plate in place and then slide the stereo in place, re-assemble the dash...

We did not have a Fusion until 2006. Are you sure of the year?
Also, what engine & trnas?
4 cylinder automatic?
V6?
Noit faliliar with EAC, please explain acronym.

Did the check engine light come on.

Hello nicole_murra,

The green wires are for signal input to the included amp and should be connected to a pair of RCA preamp outputs on your head unit. The thin blue wire connects from "remote" on the amp to a switched 12V output on the head unit (usually blue or blue/white). The red wire is for power and goes through the fuse to positive battery. You also need to connect the amp terminal marked "ground" to the metallic chassis of your vehicle, within a distance of about 1/2 meter or less. There's usually a short piece of wire with black insulation included in most amp wiring kits. If your Fusion sub did not come with such a wire, you can use any wire that is the same gauge (or bigger) than the red power wire.
