My sony kdf e50 12u wont turn on red light blinks twice

SOURCE: I have a KDF-E50A12U Sony TV it won't turn on and

Two blinks - B+ over current protection (OCP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 2 blink fault. Could be a short in the power supply of any of the circuits.

need to know how many time the red light is blinking there should be a pause. 4 blinks is a fan, 3 blinks is the lamp door is not closed 6 blinks is thermal sensor.

same problem as others 3 blinking green lights then orangey colors then 3 red blinking lights afterwards shuts down fan runs for about 2 mins solution check your door cover for warpage or deformed just a bit under set screw there is a push in switch try and push it in with q tip while holding turn on tv if it works then that door is deformed and defective change it

Replace the lamp. It easy to do.

SOURCE: sony kdf-42e2000 tv red light blinks 3 times

3 blink error shows that lamp cover is not fixed properly after lamp replacement.
Please check Lamp Cover and put it back properly.
