I want to answer the phone by opening the flip
To Enable Answer/End Call by flipping open / close the lid you have to enable it in the phone menus. Surprisingly it's not in settings ( where it used to be on older Motorola phones).

Most likely a flex cable. The flex cable runs through the hinge. It is a high fail item. I used to replace 20 a week. Check to see if you can find a flex cable online. You will also need a small torx driver. I cant remember the size.

Try unlockitnow.com or mobile2mobile.net or take the phone to a mobile service center and have it unlock there. This process may take about 12-24hrs to have it done.

By default, it's set to "any key" which means when you press any key on the keypad, calls will be received. If it's then go to call settings and set the answer options to "any key" and save the settings.
