Nook color went into store demo mode after reset. and lists owner now as test user.

3. In the Device Settings section, tap Device Info.
   

4. Tap Erase & Deregister Device.
   

5. Stop. Think. Think again.
   

6. If you really, really want to do this, go to Step 7. If not, tap the Back button.

try to hold your power button and home buttom at same time or 1 min it will rebooth it

I am assuming of course you bought a Nook HD Demo unit that should not have been sold. Yet if you somehow got your hands on one the best thing for you to do is to get a N2A card or root it.
