Viore 52' TV randomly shuts off. front lights blink then stop. After lights stop blinking I can turn TV back on. It will then stay on for hours or just a few minutes. It has done this for over a year now.

I purchased the TV two years ago and called about the warranty because the TV was shutting off with no warning. Called the Company out and they said that it was the bulb. It was the worst TV in the world. WalMart sold me a warranty on this thing that was no good. It didn't help me at all....was a waste of money.
I am having the same problem with my PRT50V24D shutting off and blinking lights. After going to viore.com and calling the number listed, I got recording to call another number. When got rep on line I was told it is made by Samsung, Called their tech support and was told that sounds like power problem or bulb getting ready to go. Also if outside of warranty will have to call repair man to see what's wrong. I will have a repair man out next week and will post his results here. Most likely it's the same issue. I have the 50dlp VIORE tv (RPT50V24D) and its been a pain in the ***. For a long while now the picture quality has been degrading. Now the picture is getting horizontal lines through it. For a while now the colors dont blend good so it looks like everybody has some weird skin cancer. Every once in a while with no warning it will shut off and i will have to wait a few minutes before it will come back on. this tv is probly the worst buy i have ever made.

I purchased the warranty and it of course started doing the same as the the other problems already listed....I think we need to boycott this company until we all get money back for our purchases...This purchase was a waste and since Samsung is the same company, we need to get a class action going. For the way the economy is going, no one can afford to be ripped off by purchasing a tv not worth a dime....
I have the exact same problem, it may stay on for hours or a few minutes. Model RPT50V24DX Dont know what to do but is REALLY ANNOYING!
